If ever there was a Mecca of motorcycling then surely it must be the Isle of Man TT races. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the iconic races and this morning our pilgramage began with the loading of the bike.
This event has been on my bucket list, ever since I saw the onboard video footage of the legendary Joey Dunlop doing a flying lap of the 64klm circuit in the early 80's.
The bike will take about 6 weeks to get to the UK. I will pick it up on the 27th of May before heading across to the island for the 2 weeks of racing before heading back to London to pick up Sam, then 4 weeks of touring around Europe taking in a couple of moto GP's and as many mountain twisty's and caffe lattes as we can.
Its going to be a wild ride.
